Dispersant/Water Reducer
ConTec SD-205 is a unique blend of dispersing aids bringing calcium naphthalene sulfonate technology to a new level. The result of this highly active formulation is improvement in both cement and color pigment efficiency in all types of architectural concrete. Use SD-205 to improve cement hydration and therefore provide higher compressive strength in manufactured concrete products.

Applications
Use ConTec SD-205 in all types of manufactured concrete where improved cement and pigments dispersion is desired. SD-205 is a low viscosity liquid ready to use as received.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
ConTec SD-205 is available in bulk quantities or packaged in 55 gallon (208 L) drums weighing 570 lb (259 kg) and 260 gallon (984 L) totes weighing 2,750 lb (1,247 kg).
Store ConTec SD-205 at temperatures above 35 F (2 C). Prevent this product from freezing. If SD-205 does freeze, warm till completely liquid then use mechanical agitation to reconstitute.
The recommended dosage rate is 0.2% by weight of cement. In dry-cast concrete products SD-205 will increase the demand for water by 5 to 10% above normal addition rates. SD-205 is not a water reducer and should not be utilized as such. Please consult an ICT representative for further recommendations to determine the proper dosage rate and order of addition for your particular process. Order of addition procedures can very by facility. Never mix SD-205 with other admixtures before application.
