Release Agent

ConTec RA-546 mold release agent is made from safe, low-VOC, renewable bio-oils. As a result of the use of this product, release agent related stains and discoloration are eliminated. RA-546 produces clean release and reduces bug-hole on vertical and horizontal mold surfaces.

Applications

ConTec RA-546 is an ideal application for roof tile molds, and other horizontal or vertical surfaces. To use, cover entire cleaned mold surface with RA-546 as received. A Low-pressure air-less sprayer or a HVLP sprayer works well. Do not apply excess or allow excess to pool on mold surface as it will disfigure the concrete surface. RA-546 is compatible with mold materials. Always test one mold for compatibility before using RA-546 in production.

HANDLING & STORAGE

ConTec RA-546 can be stored over a wide variety of temperatures. Provide adequate ventilation with use. If sprayed do not breathe mist.

ADDITION RATES

1/3 -2/3 fL oz/ sq yard (10-20 ml/square meter). Always contact your ICT technical representative fro recommendations for your application.
