Release Agent

ConTec RA-580 mold release agent is made from safe, low-VOC, oils. It eliminates release agent related stains and discoloration. RA-580 produces clean release and reduces bug-holes on vertical and horizontal mold surfaces.

Applications

ConTec RA-580 is best compatible with vertical and horizontal molds. Cover entire cleaned mold surfaces with RA-580 as received. A low-pressure air-less sprayer or a HVLP sprayer works well. Do not apply excess or allow excess to pool on mold surface as it will disfigure the concrete surface. RA-580 is compatible with most mold materials. Always test one mold for compatibility before using RA-580 in production.

ConTec RA-580 is available in bulk quantities or packaged in 55 gallon (209 L) drums weighing 480 lb (218 kg) and 265 gallon (1003 L) totes weighing 2,360 lb (1070 kg).

HANDLING & STORAGE

ConTec RA-580 can be stored over a wide range of temperatures. Provide adequate ventilation with use. If sprayed do not breathe mist.

ADDITION RATES

1/3 -2/3 fL oz/ sq yard (10-20 ml/square meter). Always contact your ICT technical representative fro recommendations for your application.
